REAMIMMAL
On launch day I could not have been more excited, me and one of my best friends had been non-stop blabbering on about the game. We could not wait for it to drop. All we had to go on were morsels of information given out about the game, a description, Steam trading cards, and a demo that I promptly datamined and shared with my friend making sure to not spoil myself along the way like I had accidentally done with Little Nightmares 3. As the time finally came, it was bombshell of an experience. To my dismay me and my friend had a few technical complications along the way, but it was absolutely a blast, each section was so well made, with love and care poured into every environment of the game. The opening, cuts right to the chase, no nightmare scene to be had here, just alone ("Alone mentioned") in a vast ocean with some buoys out in the distant with a constant ticking, showing me where to go. As we get through the final one and pull Bunny, the name me and my friend have adopted for The Girl, out of the ocean, she gives us a very warm welcome by strangling CatBag, another name my friend came up with, because of his pointed ears in the hood. Before *gasp* DIALOGUE *and even bigger gasp* THEY'RE BRITISH. In all seriousness, the dialogue was somewhat expected but was still awesome to hear especially when the game is made by the same people who had the main characters go "psst, hey, oiiii" prior. But, before this becomes a game playthrough breakdown, I loved the game. It was very short and sweet, I had a blast going through, especially with a friend to go through "hell" together! My favorite part of the game though had to be The Spoils. The immediate shell shock from going into the warzone was something I adored, the explosions, the planes flying overhead, the soundtrack! It was just a beautifully designed portion that I cannot wait to see more of in the hopefully upcoming DLC.
